Género: Melodic Power Metal

Kamelot es una banda proveniente de Estados Unidos que hacen uno de los mejores Power Metal Melódicos de la actualidad. No piensen que es el Power Metal, que es muy fantasioso de guerras dragones y ese tipo de cosas, este es diferente es muy estilo Stratovarius líricamente.

En cuento a la musicalidad de Kamelot es bastante bien trabajada, muy tecnica, tipica del Power Metal. Durante sus primeros álbumes tenían un cantante que es literalmente un asco, después de su tercer álbum, cambiaron de cantante a uno que es increíblemente entrenado, con capacidades increíbles y que le ha dado a Kamelot un gigantísimo éxito. La voz de este cantante es muy entrenada, justo para el Power Metal, que es uno de los ingredientes básicos de este genero. Este cantante a cantado como soprano en operas lo cual le da una capacidad de subir y bajar de too bastante rapido, asi como llegar a tonos muy altos y muy bajos en la misma canción en un corto tiempo.

Pasando a las guitarras y bajos estos son muy tecnificados, con riffs muy melódicos, así como el uso de los pianos. En las baterías no se utiliza mucho el doble bombo ya que estos círculos son muy básicos, pero que suenan bastante bien.

Obligatoria la discografia para los que les gusta el Power Metal, y también para aquellos que les gusta el genero, pero no les gusta las letras de guerras y dragones. Esta banda esta muy bien enfocada y ciertamente va a pasar a la historia del Power Metal como una de las mejores
